Description
The corporate accountant supports Assistant Controller & Director of Accounting in performing multiple duties related to the accounting functions of the organization within established deadlines. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing bank and credit card transactions, and other related tasks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial activities and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Month-end close process; responsible for the deadlines & accuracy of data by working with the accounting/finance dept to include journal entries, accruals and required analytics
- Support Monthly Revenue Journal Posting/Reconciliation
- Be able to proficiently navigate the accounting system
- Reconcile Month End Balance Sheet Accounts
- Support the Annual audit
- Daily Cash Reconciliation between the Bank and Sage Accounting system
- Branch support as required
- Assist with Tax Reporting/Filing
Support the FP&A team with ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong work ethic and pride in your work.
- Ability to handle deadlines, high volume and adaptive to change.
- Sage Intact Software Experience a plus.
- Proactive in nature and focused on results/accomplishments.
- Advanced Excel skills to include Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- GAAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of all accounting functional areas to include general ledger, AR & AP
- Experience working with multi-dept/division or multiple location company.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and follow through on a variety of tasks and assignments effectively.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
- Proven ability to deploy procedures and policies while working well with others.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
