Job Description
AIMS, LLC is a multi-specialty group practice that provides inpatient psychiatric, medical hospitalist, and psychology services to Neuropsychiatric Hospitals (NPH) throughout Indiana. NPH in Greenwood, Indiana offers acute, inpatient psychiatric care for adults and adolescents with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses and comorbid medical conditions. In partnership, NPH and AIMS provide exceptional, quality care through an interdisciplinary team aimed at healing the minds and bodies of individuals facing challenging circumstances on their life journey.
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental care to adults and adolescents in the inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care for diverse age groups, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with patients and their families.

Qualifications
- Master or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Indiana state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric care, with demonstrated experience in both adult and adolescent populations
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for adults and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different age groups
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adults and adolescents
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers
- Offer crisis intervention and management when necessary
- Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of both adult and adolescent patients
