What You'll Do
As a Clinical Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and psychologists to support daily tasks and duties.
- Assist the providers in providing telemedicine services and examinations.
- Scribe for providers during patient visits, and then generate and file notes for providers.
- Contribute to the interdisciplinary team meetings and master treatment plans.
- Perform other job-related duties to support the exceptional care we provide.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals with the following skills, abilities, and experience:
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills to engage with patients, providers, clients, coworkers, and management staff.
- Experience in a medical office with knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in using computers, phones, and office equipment.
- Ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence.
- Capability to thrive in a fast paced environment while documenting accurately and concisely.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Readiness to have contact with potentially violent patients
