AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking qualified Radiologists to provide diagnostic and interventional imaging services at Womack Army Medical Center. Physicians will utilize their expertise in interpreting imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-rays, and performing interventional procedures to support patient care. Responsibilities include collaboration with the healthcare team, maintaining high standards in radiologic diagnostics, and fulfilling all credentialing and licensure requirements.
General Duties:
- Clinical Privileges: Work within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF Director.
- Contractual Obligations: Provide services per the basic contract and outlined task order duties.
Specific Duties:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and provide detailed radiology reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss imaging findings and care plans.
- Maintain compliance with government-mandated standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Utilize and navigate government-provided systems like MHS Genesis and Clinical Information System (CIS).
Qualifications:
Radiologist:
- Degree/Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Radiology. Completion of an internship and a residency in an accredited diagnostic radiology program.
- Certifications: Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Demonstrated clinical competency through continuous employment in diagnostic radiology.
- Licensure/Registration: Active and unrestricted NC state medical license.
Interventional Radiologist:
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures.
- DEA Registration: Current DEA registration.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in advanced imaging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret imaging results accurately.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with medical teams and provide patient counseling when necessary.
