Overview:
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its growing finance team. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while supporting the Controller in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, the ability to drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, and a proactive approach to process automation within accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cash flow forecasting, revenue projections, and financial reporting
- Oversee invoicing, expense management, and cost analysis to support profitability
- Act as a key advisor to the Controller, assisting with financial decision-making
- Analyze inventory, labor costs, and variances to improve financial performance
- Work cross-functionally with teams to align financial objectives
- Lead efforts to improve financial processes and automate accounting functions
- Maintain financial compliance, ensuring accuracy in reporting and internal controls
- Troubleshoot financial issues, develop solutions, and drive operational improvements
- Support the enhancement of financial systems, including Epicor ERP
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
- 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills (data modeling, automation, forecasting tools)
- Familiarity with Epicor ERP or similar financial systems
- Strong problem-solving ability with a track record of process optimization
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic financial insights
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership

Pay: $88,395.00 - $130,000.00 per year
