A Global Manufacturer based in Philadelphia is hiring a Director of Finance to join their team. This Director of Finance will report to CFO and oversee Business Unit Financial operations, work in collaboration with cross functional executives, leaders to achieve revenue growth, support M&A, business strategies, and drives sustainable long-term growth for the business unit, etc. This opportunity offers excellent compensation, bonus, benefit, relocation assistance, and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Report to CFO and lead a financial team to streamline, plan, and optimize Business Unit Financial Operations, provide business insights, recommendation based of financial data to cross functional leaders, further promote revenue growth, M&A projects, cost saving, P&L, and long-term sustainable growth.
- Provides leadership and strategic management to financial team, develop strategies and directions to subordinates based on operations and business demand; plan, develop and train financial team based on business growth.
- Oversee all accounting, tax compliance, reporting, cash flow management, P&L, FP&A, ensure completeness and compliance with federal, state, local and group guidelines within specified timeframes.
- Oversee the integrity of internal and external financial reporting including forecasts, annual budgets, long-range plans, actual results, bid rates and pricing, ensure of the achievement of the company’s financial goals and business plans.
- Oversee compliance accounting and internal control including closing the books, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset records, balance sheet, profit and loss, and financial statements, support sales and product line costing needs and requirements, responsible for government accounting activities such as bid rates for proposals and pricing and manage government audits.
- Lead corporation financial planning and analysis, manage, analyze, and monitor financial performance metrics and risks, address company financial position with leaderships and board of directors and implement actions to prevent issues and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with commercial and operating teams, provide fact-based recommendations that will achieve financial targets, improve revenue and profitability, operational efficiency and effectiveness; develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Participate, influence, and strategize corporate financial plan, acquisitions, expansions, etc., make business decision as needed with leadership team.
- Lead, manage and oversee all financial audits, ensure proper documentation, and follow up based on auditing, addressing concerns and implement preventive measures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or higher education preferred.
- Recent work experience as Sr. Finance Manager, Director of Finance within global manufacturing firm at or above $100M in revenue.
- Knowledge of letter of credit, ITAR, Import/export Licensing, compliance, etc.
- Outside of box thinker, ability to overcome status-quo and adaptive to fast pace, ever changing environment, ability to make business decisions independently.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 10%
- Aspiration to advance to Global Executive Leadership role.
