Job Summary :
The GDI / Ainsworth family is seeking an experienced and operationally savvy leader to oversee a Regional Portfolio of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services for a premier client in the Automotive Engineering and Manufacturing sector. This leadership role involves managing both Hard (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical) and Soft (Janitorial, Landscaping, Moves / Adds / Changes) Facilities Services, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and continuous improvement. Reporting to Regional Leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for contract compliance, financial performance, and strategic service delivery, while fostering strong client relationships and employee engagement. This role requires an expert problem-solver who can manage complex challenges, drive business growth, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives while promoting the GDI / Ainsworth brand within industry associations.
Key Responsibilities :
Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Oversee and coordinate all IFM activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Interface with customers to ensure contract compliance and performance specifications (qualitative cost savings and service excellence).
- Lead and participate in performance reviews (e.g., Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews) with clients.
- Ensure seamless facility, property, and project management operations across the portfolio.
- Evaluate current processes and service models, identifying gaps and developing service delivery recommendations.
- Facilitate, lead, and support new business mobilization and transition activities.
- Actively collaborate with business development teams in RFP responses, cost analysis, and internal approval processes.
- Investigate opportunities to expand service offerings and create additional value for the client.
