Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on all areas of the property.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing leaky faucets.
• Assist with the maintenance of storage supplies and materials.
• Prepare and paint units for re-lease, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to maintain curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Report any safety concerns or issues to management and participate in safety meetings.
• Complete service requests to a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the on-call rotation team and be available for overtime work.
• Perform snow removal services as required.
• Maintain the grounds and ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CFC Type I & II certification (or ability to obtain within 180 days).
• Valid driver's license.
• At least one year of maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 60 lbs., and bending.
• Sufficient knowledge to complete maintenance assessments to the standards of a Service Technician.
