A growing, product-focused company is seeking a Plant Controller to join its Accounting & Finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be instrumental in managing inventory and fixed assets while also contributing to the development of scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and system integrations as the business transitions from QuickBooks Enterprise to a full ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and fixed assets in the accounting system
- Ensure assets are correctly categorized and reconcile balance sheet accounts with individual listings and valuations
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation, amortization, and inventory allocations
- Support monthly close activities by providing timely and accurate data related to inventory and fixed assets
- Oversee and reconcile periodic physical asset counts, analyzing discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
- Manage the acquisition and disposal process for inventory and fixed assets
- Evaluate and enhance current processes to drive accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA or CMA certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting roles
- Strong Excel and general accounting system skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing and inventory management required
- Fixed asset management experience preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable analyzing and improving workflows across departments to increase data accuracy and operational efficiency
