A respected law firm is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Finance Attorney or Senior Counsel to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions, focusing on lender-side representation, within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in real estate finance, including debt and equity financing, purchase and sale agreements, commercial lending, and commercial leasing. The role involves managing multiple transactions simultaneously, conducting thorough due diligence, and overseeing title and survey reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate finance transactions, with a focus on lender-side matters
- Draft and negotiate complex financing documents, including debt and equity agreements
- Manage purchase and sale transactions, including documentation, due diligence, and closing processes
- Oversee commercial lending and leasing matters
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including title and survey reviews
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external parties to deliver strategic legal solutions
- Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in real estate finance law, preferably on the lender side
- Extensive knowledge of debt and equity financing, commercial lending, and leasing
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction is required
- Experience in a mid-to-large law firm environment is preferred
