We are hiring an experienced Event Manager with Meetings, Conferences, and Incentive Travel industry experience to join their expanding team.

As an Event Manager, you will :
Take ownership of all logistics planning as required, ensuring adherence to overall program design, budget requirements, and commitment to an exceptional attendee experience.Be responsible for communicating, maintaining, and managing relationships with all program logistics vendors.Manage the hotel and venue management process, including sourcing, contracting, expenses, and the details surrounding room set up's, load in / out, room allocations, and delegating tasks as required to the team.Manage the food and beverage requirements for events, such as organizing attendee meals, crew meals, and presenter refreshments based on event requirements, including, but not limited to, menu design and proposal, seeking approval from clients, and overseeing the successful execution of F&B.Define print requirements and work with the creative team to ensure all print collateral is actualized, approved, and delivered to the venue.Liaise and manage supporting teams for air travel, ground transportation, evening events, optional activities, etc.Consult on registration best practices and work with a team to ensure attendee information is captured accurately and securely.Attend client and internal meetings and ensure workstreams are captured and managed via a critical path.Develop a logistics staffing plan for on-site and prepare all on-site briefing materials and documentation.Delegate tasks as required to the Event Coordinator and ensure the quality of work.Skills and Experience you bring :
7 years of Event Management experience in meetings, conferences or incentive travel.Experience managing logistics deliverables for large, high-impact events and experiences.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.An exceptional approach to all facets of client service.Collaboration skills with a keen desire to work as a team toward shared results.Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks.Exceptional computer skills – including proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and OneDrive.Ability to create and update forms and documents, input formulations and graph results, and develop presentations with accuracy.Familiarity with digital / virtual platforms and tools such as Microsoft Teams, virtual event platforms, and audience engagement applications.AIP Connect believes in equal opportunity.
