Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate supply chain operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and transportation companies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
- Resolve any logistical issues, such as delays or damaged goods, in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding transportation and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and fulfillment of customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred."
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
