We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Commercial Sales Director to lead our Data Center Project teams. The candidate shall have 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC applications and be able to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This leader is responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients. By aligning sales initiatives with the company's overall objectives, the Commercial Sales Director ensures sustained business success in the Data Center market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in the Data Center market.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and adapt to industry trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and repeat business
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of Data Center projects.
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide market insights and help shape the development of new Data Center products and solutions.
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development progress, opportunities, and challenges.
- Stay current with industry innovations, regulations, and technological advancements in Data Center products.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in the commercial HVAC industry.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and securing large, complex commercial HVAC contracts.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, products, and applications.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with sales forecasting and budget management.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with HVAC design, installation, and service delivery processes.
- Established network within the commercial HVAC industry and related sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
