Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Quality Excellence: Develop and monitor product and process controls to ensure conformance to quality plans and ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as the key liaison between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, production, and customers to resolve quality concerns.
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Perform and manage system audits, analyze SPC data, and implement corrective actions to enhance processes and drive improvements.
- Support Quality Programs: Train teams on SPC, DOE, and quality plans; develop quality teams and corrective action strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and Report: Publish quality performance reports, track progress, and communicate status updates to leadership, suppliers, and customers.
- Maintain Calibration Systems: Ensure the integrity of calibration systems through collaboration with contractors and internal teams.
- Innovate and Lead Projects: Participate in quality improvement projects, assign tasks, and ensure implementation of corrective actions with measurable results.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business, or Manufacturing required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality control, auditing, lean processes, or engineering.
- Certifications (Preferred): Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of ISO systems. Experience with AS400 systems is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning ability to address challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical information clearly to leadership, teams, suppliers, and customers.
