Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Air Education and Training Command team as an Air Freight Handler.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies Government/Commercial Bills of Lading accuracy
- Conducts inspections to identify discrepancies in classified or general cargo
- Ensures commercial freight bills are accurately documented and entered into CMOS
- Processes Reports of Shipments (REPSHIPS) for classified, hazardous, and special handling cargo
- Utilizes CMOS to track shipments and resolve discrepancies
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of relevant experience at the GS-04 level or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of DoD and Air Force regulations related to freight movement
- Hands-on experience with shipment and receipt operations
