We are hiring for a A&P Rover Mechanic - Rotor Wing to support the daily maintenance of the helicopters across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Field Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.

We are hiring for a A&P Rover Mechanic - Rotor Wing to support the daily maintenance of the helicopters across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Field Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintains company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance
- Ability and willingness to travel, working days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24/7 during the duty period assigned
- Will be available for maintenance related matters 24 hours a day except for on his scheduled days off.
- Monitor aircraft maintenance status and maintain liaison with the regional maintenance personnel to ensure proper and timely scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is accomplished.
- Keep the local Senior Base AMT, informed of all operational matters that should be brought to the attention of Company management.
- Manage base inventory
- Maintain the base library and company owned ground support equipment
- Submit all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner.
- Report any major malfunctions, aircraft damage to the appropriate individuals in the most expeditious manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)
- Valid and current Driver’s License
- Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
- Avionics troubleshooting knowledge and basic electrical repair experience.
- Aircraft records and systems knowledge.
- Aircraft maintenance planning experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Capable of lifting 50lbs.
- Travel between Tennessee and Alabama bases to support maintenance needs
- Valid and current FAA Inspection Authorization
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, and of EMS aviation practices and requirements
- AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, and EC135 maintenance experience.
