Have you worked in Air Staff level or comparable? Are you proactive and organized, have familiarity with office software like Microsoft Office Suite, email management systems, and potentially specialized software relevant to the executive's field is essential; excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with various stakeholders, including internal and external contacts then this could be the position for you.
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Personal and Confidential Assistant for the Chief Information Officer, Secretariat, Department of the Air Force, otherwise termed the DAF CIO. This confidential relationship implies a thorough knowledge of, and sympathy with the superior’s goals, viewpoints, and philosophies, and the subordinate’s willingness to represent them as his or her own. This position also performs analytical administrative functions that support the organization and allow the management and senior staff to concentrate on performance of professional and managerial duties in support of the organization’s missions, programs, and policies.
Responsibilities can include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging travel, handling correspondence, preparing reports, managing phone calls, coordinating meetings, and maintaining detailed record. The Assistant must handle highly sensitive information with utmost privacy, including personal details, financial records, business strategies, and confidential communications.

Qualifications/Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- This is a drug testing designated position. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
- In-depth knowledge and ability to interpret existing guidelines in order to develop organizational operating procedures and guidance. Ability to locate, assemble, and compose information for reports, inquires, and nontechnical correspondence.
- Knowledge of established management principles, concepts, policies, and objectives, pertinent administrative regulations applicable to the organization’s missions and program objectives and the military organizational structure.
- Ability to interface and coordinate the work of the organization with stakeholders and customers across the DoD, other government agencies, and the private sector.
- Knowledge of agency and organizational priorities sufficient to schedule and delegate meetings in the best interest of the organization.
