The primary duty of this position is to serve as a lead IT program manager and senior subject matter expert, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative corporate policies, practices, and processes for the management of Cybersecurity. Perform official team lead duties over subordinate employees overseeing projects, assignments and studies encompassing Cybersecurity. Program development and oversight includes one or more of the following: Cybersecurity. The Cyber Section provides a wide range of services across key strategic areas such as cybersecurity, advanced programs cybersecurity, cyber support, cyber resiliency, cyber technology, network defense, vulnerability management, software assurance, software licensing, plans and programs, and system registration and reporting. Cybersecurity services are focused in support of Risk Management Framework requirements across Unclassified, Controlled Unclassified Information, Collateral, SAP and SCI enclaves. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Top Secret Security clearance - This is a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) - Position may be eligible for Referral Bonus program Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Leadership ability, including the ability to coach, mentor, inspire, motivate, guide, and challenge team members toward goal accomplishment and the ability to adapt leadership style to a variety of situations. 2. Specific in-depth knowledge of computer system security policies, technology, threats, and issues to include knowledge of IT INFOSEC security requirements for certification and accreditation, network operations and protocols, systems testing and evaluation, and performance management methods sufficient to plan and conduct security accreditation reviews for installed systems or networks and assess and advise on new revised security measures and countermeasures based on the results of accreditation reviews. 4. Knowledge of operational and performance characteristics of computer systems to develop procedures/ policies, practices for use. 5. Knowledge of performance characteristics of computer equipment, systems, services, and transmission media to evaluate new devices, proposals, and approaches. 6. Knowledge of associated methods and techniques such as contracting procedures/legal requirements, cost analyses, and budgets 7. Ability to develop and conduct training on information security. 8. Ability to analyze a variety of unusual computer conditions, problems, questions or conditions associated with formulating projects or studies. 9. Ability to research patterns to develop new methods, criteria, or proposed new computer policies and procedures. 10. DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) Certification is a condition of employment. According to DoDM 8140.03, Chap 4, Para 4.4.1, personnel may be subject to administrative action if they do not obtain or maintain foundational requirements within nine months of assignment to a DCWF coded role, meet residential requirements within 12 months of assignment to DCWF coded role, or maintain their qualified status by meeting continuing education requirements.
