The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 1st level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within AFSC/SWPD. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis. Government Purchase Card Procurement Branch performs expedited purchasing of commercial supplies and services at or below the micro-purchase threshold. Providing direct purchase from vendors rather than using contractual vehicles. Maintains purchase logs and necessary documentation supporting each purchase. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security clearance - This may be a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team. 4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization. 6. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options. 7. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 8.
