This position is part of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of External Affairs. As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Vice President's business activities, including but not limited to scheduling meetings and conference calls, and supporting travel such as pre and post travel schedule planning and logistics (e.g., travel cables).

Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements : Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
You may qualify at the GS-09 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualification requirements :
- A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to work in a high pace environment supporting senior level management activities (e.g., arranging meetings, calendar management, and / or briefing management on subject matter content, respond to multiple sources to include staff, handle a wide variety of situations and conflicts independently, and / or using initiative to determine approach to be taken or methods to be used); AND experience preparing a variety of documents such as memos, reports, briefing materials, etc., in final form, including drafting, editing, proofreading, and formatting;
- B. A master's or equivalent graduate degree in an accredited or pre-accredited college or university; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or possession of a LL.B. or J.D degree, if related. Graduate level education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work of the position;
- C. A combination of education and experience as listed above.
