Come join our Air Force Research Lab Headquarters Personnel Services Division (DSP) team to provide management with recommendations and advice on a variety of civilian personnel issues! The AFRL Headquarters consists of organizations that have a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions in rapidly changing fields.
You will be the primary focal point for senior leaders of your assigned organizations, advising them on their requested personnel actions, as well as the impact reclassification or restructuring may have on other positions and personnel.
In this Human Resources Advisor role, you'll have the opportunity to analyze internal HR processes and identify / recommend solutions to streamline those processes. You will also be coordinating hiring, promotion, reassignment, and other personnel actions with a variety of Civilian Personnel Offices.
AFRL's unique flexibilities and authorities will give you additional resources to interpret for and recommend to management officials, and will also help you stay current on labor market trends and organizational-wide data for paysetting, legislative initiatives and negotiated union contracts. Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (DO-01 / GS-11) in the Federal system or equivalent pay system.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
