The Warehouse Parts Puller position is responsible for processing in real-time data software records for receiving, storing, and staging material orders for deliveries within the warehouse. putting away material stock deliveries, process returns, and complete corresponding paperwork in a timely manner Monday-Friday 8-4 : 30 pm.
Essential Functions :
- Process daily material picklists and truck stocks ensuring orders are staged and prepared correctly for deliveries including equipment
- Use efficient use of time to utilize best routes for deliveries as backup driver
- Assist in unloading returned parts / supplies as per job requests / orders and put away in correct warehouse location
- Assist as needed to opening warehouse at beginning of day security / lock procedures
- Assist in maintaining shop / warehouse cleanliness
- Assist warehouse staff with projects as needed
- Attend and participate in employee meetings and trainings
- Assist with warehouse inventory
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding position as work requires moving materials, equipment and needed supplies to work sites and staging. Position requires bending, stooping, overhead lifting, turning, climbing ladders, and lifting of more than 70 lbs. on occasion. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions. Must be able to operate or be trained to use forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks. Communication is also required to perform this job. Must be able to communicate over the phone, over email, and in person.
