Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Transportation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of cargo and personnel, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate cargo transportation using a variety of methods, including military and commercial transportation.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to maintain fleet safety and efficiency.
- Provide transportation services for dignitaries and special events.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve transportation processes and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in logistics, transportation, or a related field required.
- Valid state driver's license and meeting the Air National Guard's mechanical ASVAB requirements.
- Knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Must be able to deploy and mobilize worldwide as needed.
- Normal color vision and completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training required.
