**Summary**
This position serves as the Family Readiness and Support Services Representative at an Air National Guard Wing.
The incumbent coordinates with various stakeholders, including the Force Support Squadron Commander/Human Resource Officer, Joint Force Headquarters - State Family Program Director, and US Air Force/Major Command Family Readiness Directors.
The primary purpose is to assist the Wing leadership in developing and implementing a family readiness and support program.
The job entails providing family readiness assistance at geographic separated units (GSUs), identifying wing family needs and concerns, and presenting recommendations for decisions.
The incumbent also conducts briefings and training for family members and volunteers, attends conferences and workshops, and assesses customer interactions.
The position resides within the infrastructure and support functions of the state National Guard, but does not perform a key advisory or essential administrative role that is inherently military.
The incumbent must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal government, or demonstrate comparable experience in the private sector.
The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
