Process Improvement Specialist

ATEC is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to provide second level engineering to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) NMT CM / PI / PM Team. The applicant will coordinate, plan, and collect information on process management, process improvement, operations analysis, or quality control / quality assurance activities. They will support the development of processes, Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC), manage all project artifacts and ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures, compile and track data for special studies, audits, and other investigations, and asist with the development of training or familiarization materials for the above activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Partially writes and supports the overall development and implementation of process re-engineering, quality, configuration management and business process modernization projects.
• Partially writes and supports the overall development of and / or provides quality reviews of task materials.
• Experience creating, editing, maintaining and providing feedback for process documentation.
• Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to enable successful completion of project artifacts.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office software products, especially Microsoft Project to create, maintain and analyze project schedules.
• Ability to route project and branch level documentation for upper management approval.
• Lead team collaboration on the development and delivery of project artifacts to comply with required deadlines.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and adhere to applicable FAA and organizational processes and policies.
