Job Description
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to join AirBorn Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels, using tools such as scales to weigh small parts
- Store articles in bins, on floors, or on shelves according to stock tags, maintaining a well-organized stockroom environment
- Issue door tags as required, ensuring timely delivery of materials to production workers
- Distribute stock to production workers, keeping accurate records of material issued
- Read and follow SP0009 Picker Note instructions, understanding complex procedures
- Issue material from pre-built stock inventory when possible, minimizing waste and optimizing stock usage
- Resolve discrepancies between physical stock counts and computer records, implementing corrective actions
- Maintain accurate inventory and other stock records in computer systems and print reports
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to 'first in, first out' procedures and maintaining stock locations to accommodate changes, additions, and deletions
- Move or transport materials to other departments, efficiently managing warehouse operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three months to two years of related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CRT experience and experience with scales may be required, depending on the specific job requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence, effectively communicating with team members and management
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions, following established protocols
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, exercising critical thinking
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, and reach with arms and hands. The employee may be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move from 25 to 50 pounds.
