Job Summary
Performs deburring process and provides machine shop support, with a focus on progressive stamping dies in presses ranging from 15-60 tons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and run progressive stamping dies in presses.
- Inspect parts and log information on data sheets.
- Operate coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners, and reels.
- Communicate cross-departmentally to ensure product requirements are met.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Requires knowledge typically acquired through high school diploma or equivalent education.
- One month to two years of related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and write simple sentences.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
