About the Role
In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of productivity and quality in our stamping press operations. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our state-of-the-art stamping presses, working closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to optimize machine efficiency and improve die design.
Responsibilities
- Operate stamping presses using progressive stamping dies and tooling to produce high-precision metal parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on stamping presses to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with our engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement improvements to our stamping press operations.
- Conduct quality checks on stamped parts and identify areas for improvement in our processes.
- Document production data, including production quantities, machine settings, and any issues encountered during the production process.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent safety practices and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience operating stamping presses, specifically with progressive stamping dies and tooling.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
- A strong understanding of stamping press operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and the use of precision measurement tools.
- The ability to perform routine maintenance on presses and dies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
