Airbotics Talent are excited to be supporting a leading drone and aerial data client in the scaling of their Sales and Key Account Management team. Following capture of major accounts, my customer is looking for a senior level (Director / Management) Account lead Sales professional to manage these key relationships, support customer workflows and maintain regular touch points to ensure program delivery and a continued and productive relationship.
This role is based in the West Palm Beach area of Florida and would require a 2-3 days per week in the office, when not traveling to meet customers or working from home. Candidates should be local, within a commutable drive or willing and able to relocate to the area. Relocation support for US residents is available for the right candidate.
The Role
As Senior Key Account Manager, you will be part of an established US sales team and report in to the VP Sales. This role is working with their key US customer and will be pivotal in the providing the platform for continued major account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with enterprise-level clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
- Ensure client satisfaction and success by coordinating across internal teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Identify key stakeholders within customer organisations to deepen engagement and drive collaboration.
- Uncover and capitalise on upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with client goals.
- Translate client needs into actionable strategies and communicate them effectively across internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support proposal creation, invoicing, and collections.
- Support marketing initiatives, including gathering customer success stories and representing the business at events.
- Willingness to travel as needed to maintain and grow client relationships.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience selling drone, UAV or robotics solutions ideally into inspection, surveying, mapping or aerial data acquisition markets.
• A minimum of 4 year's experience in an Account Management lead role.
• A customer centric approach to ensure project delivery and best customer experience.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• The ability to be onsite in Palm Beach 2-3 days per week and open to travel.
• A Degree in Engineering, Sales, Projects or Program Management or other associated fields would be advantageous but not essential.
• Similarly, experience flying drones with Part 107 would be beneficial but not a firm requirement.
