Job Title: Technical Sales Manager (TSM)
Location: Mid Atlantic (Remote, with Regional Travel)
About the Role:
- Home-based position with regional travel to clients and head office in Pittsburgh
- Maximize engagement with End Users, System Integrators, and engineering firms
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and territory management, ensuring pull-through from End Users
- Providing troubleshooting and technical solutions for clients
- Implementing the Challenger sales methodology
- Conducting technical sales presentations (e.g., Lunch & Learns)
- Understanding and communicating sales objectives with leadership
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of building automation/HVAC controls sales experience with a leading OEM or regional/national distributor
- College degree in Engineering or Business-related field
- Natural ability to sell independently—self-starter with minimal oversight
- Possess a "hunter" mentality and "road warrior" spirit
- Embrace new technologies, philosophies, and implementations in the sales process
