What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Install Apprentice position at Aire Serv of Spokane?
We would like to see you have experience with venting, ductwork, and mini split systems. We intend to train the right person in various other skills as well including, but not limited to high velocity systems, boiler work, geothermal, air to water systems, etc. Ideally you have at least one-year prior experience in the HVAC industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
- Installation, maintenance, repair of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems
- Ensure the efficient use of materials and help maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
- Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
- Residential HVAC & Refrigeration knowledge at least 1 year in the field
- Valid State Driver's License & clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 50-100lbs
- Professional appearance and personality
- Excellent communication skills
- EPA Certification
- Current Electrical Training card
- Heating and mechanics 1 or better
