Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Airon Corporation, USA

Position Overview:
Airon Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is critical to ensuring the highest quality standards for our incoming parts, outgoing products, and ventilators. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control (QC) for medical devices or equivalent fields, with strong technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Inspection:

  • Perform detailed inspections of incoming parts and materials to ensure compliance with Airon’s specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize measurement tools, blueprints, and specifications to verify part dimensions and quality.
  • Document and report any non-conformances and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Outgoing Inspection:

  • Conduct final inspections of finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Verify proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with production and shipping teams to address and rectify any quality concerns.

Quality Control for Ventilators:

  • Ensure ventilators meet all required performance standards, including safety, functionality, and durability.
  • Perform functional testing of ventilator components and systems using specialized equipment.
  • Maintain records of inspections and tests as required by FDA and other regulatory bodies.

Process Improvement and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve quality processes.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, FDA regulations, and Airon Corporation’s internal quality policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in medical devices or a related industry.
  • Education: High school diploma required; technical degree or certification in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Experience with ventilators or similar medical devices is a strong advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other medical device standards.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and reporting quality issues.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in a controlled environment.

Work Environment:

  • Operate in a dynamic and regulated environment, requiring strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
