Job Title:Assembler
Summary:The Airport Lighting Production Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing airport lighting components and systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly Tasks:
- Assemble airport lighting products, including wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly, according to detailed instructions and blueprints.
- Use hand tools and machinery to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in materials or finished products.
- Inventory and Materials Management:
- Maintain accurate records of materials used in the assembly process.
- Notify supervisors of any material shortages or issues.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings to review production schedules and address challenges.
- Workplace Safety:
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical components.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Frequent use of hands for assembling components.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment
- Indoor manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to tools, machinery, and electrical components.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7am-3:30 pm
