Job Summary
The role of the Inside Sales Representative requires strong sales skills along with product knowledge to empower and support their sales team in order to meet sales goals and performance metric requirements. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a drive for success, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls all the way to inbound leads.
Responsibilities
- Qualifying inbound warm leads to create sales.
- Contacting prospects to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Distinguish the customer’s needs to make the best sale.
- Take an active role in lead generation activities and marketing initiatives in assigned territories, including prospecting and cold calling.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Providing company literature, such as handouts and providing website tours to potential customers.
- Finding and developing new markets through prospecting and cold calling and growing existing customer revenue.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for customers.
- Collaborate and work closely with Outside Sales Representatives to execute sales goals and ensure quotas are met.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Qualifications
- 1 -2 years experience in sales or customer service.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Experience managing complex projects and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer skills
- CRM experience preferred Oracle NetSuite a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
- Veteran friendly and owned organization.
