A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ESTIMATING ADMINISTRATOR

As an Estimating Administrator, your day begins with analyzing blueprints and CAD drawings, utilizing your expertise to create HVAC load calculations and designs. Using advanced software programs, you will develop accurate load calculations, duct layouts, and estimated cost proposals. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital as you interpret complex drawings and collaborate with divisional salespeople and customers. Effective communication and timely information delivery to the assigned division will be key to your success in this critical role. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to excel.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed as an Estimating Administrator, you should possess the following qualities:

• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings for HVAC load calculations and designs
• Strong command of software programs for load calculations, duct layouts, and estimating
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational skills to maintain a detailed bid/status log and ensure timely information flow
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and effectively communicate with divisional salespeople and customers

To be considered for the Estimating Administrator position, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Previous experience in interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings
• Proficiency in software programs for HVAC load calculations and estimating
• Strong communication and organizational skills

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position based in Indianapolis, IN. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We offer a competitive pay range of $16-18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
