Calibration Technician/Metrology
Airtronics, an Aerospace and Defense company with a precision state-of-the-art machine shop and manufacturing facility located in Tucson, AZ, is currently seeking to add a full time Calibration Technician in Metrology.
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following:
· Document, review and audit the calibration/maintenance/repair activities of laboratory equipment
· Maintain calibration/maintenance schedules to ensure the Calibration Program is always current and up to date
· Will be able to perform complex equipment calibrations utilizing approved procedures and standards
· Apply moderately complex principles, trouble shoot and assist others in resolving equipment/instrument issues in a timely manner to ensure reliability
· Review data to determine trends
· Perform routine preventative maintenance
· Ensure standards are certified and tracked according to schedule and maintain information in the appropriate database
· Perform periodic internal audits to ensure audit readiness and participates in audits and inspections
In addition to the above the successful candidate will also possess the following:
· GMP/GLP – regulated industry knowledge of analytical equipment
· ISO/ASQ certified is preferred or at least strong knowledge of current standards
· Calibration/Maintenance/Service experience on various lab instruments
The position of Calibration Technician requires excellent communication skills, commitment, motivation and a basic understanding of statistical techniques and analysis.

Compensation is DOE.
