Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm / 7:30am to 4:30pm EST; Monday - Friday
The Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for materials and inventory management. The Materials Management Coordinator provides supplies and equipment to support the pharmacy utilizing available contracts to ensure the most appropriate pricing. This position is responsible for purchasing, receiving, delivering, and stocking of inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works in conjunction with internal departments to communicate inventory needs.
· Maintains a clean and orderly supply and shipping area.
· Responsible for the purchasing, receiving, delivering, and stocking of material and inventory.
· Receives biological samples and hazardous drugs according to company policy.
· Orders all cleanroom supplies, including, but not limited to garb, syringes and cleaning supplies.
· Orders all drugs and ensures appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.
· Orders all supply items and ensures appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times.
· Orders all packing materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, clear bags, tubes, amber bags, etc.).
· Restocks drugs and supplies.
· Ensures supplies and inventory are consistently and constantly stocked, reordering as necessary to ensure supply levels do not become low or run out.
· Proactively communicates with internal and external customers to ensure necessary and timely flow of information and products.
· Tracks orders to ensure timely delivery.
· Performs IG medication inventory at the beginning of each day.
· Performs end of month inventory for all medication and supplies on hand.
· Ensures inventory and supplies are in proper storage locations, off the floor, and organized and in proper rotation.
· Ensures all materials and supplies are available and ready to use.
· Ensures supply and drug inventories are in acceptable condition, monitoring expiration dates.
· Analyzes utilization reports and par levels.
· Enters/confirms chemicals, lot numbers, expiration dates, etc.
· Proactively identifies potential supply chain disruptions and provides status updates for orders in backlog and works to resolve planning related issues to enable timely delivery of goods.
· Demonstrates understanding of the Company’s quality management system and relevant SOPs.
· Answers incoming phone calls as needed.
· Recognizes patients’ rights and responsibilities and supports them in the performance of job
duties; respects patient’s rights to privacy and confidentiality.
· Completes assigned paperwork/documents as directed in a timely manner.
· Shares knowledge gained with other staff members and works as a team member.
· Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
· Performs other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is required.
· Experience with materials management and purchasing preferred.
· Laboratory or healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
· Register as a pharmacy technician with applicable State Board of Pharmacy
