Industrial Outside Sales Representative
AIS Industrial and Construction Supply in beautiful Denver, Colorado, is currently seeking the right sales professional to fill an immediate opening for an Industrial Outside Sales Representative. If you have a desire to meet new people, be part of a dynamic team, and contribute to the bottom line of Colorado’s largest stocking independent industrial distributor- than this position is for you!
In this position, you’ll be selling Industrial MRO, Safety, and Construction supplies to contractors, powerplants, jobsites, and other customers helping them find the right nationally branded products for the job. You’ll contribute directly to the profitability of this 80-year-old organization known throughout the industry for its warm company culture and beautiful natural mountain surroundings that just can’t be beat!
Responsibilities
As an Industrial Outside Sales Representative, you will:
· Establish meaningful working relationships with existing and new customers to grow the business overall
· Work together with Inside Sales Associates and other team members to ensure customer’s needs are being met
· Ensure the delivery of personalized account management services through the delivery of timely quotations and accurate order processing
· Update customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse
· Build relationships within a supportive team atmosphere
Qualifications
3 years of industry experience is preferred; however, our training and onboarding programs are designed to support those who are new to the industry. We’ll teach you how to be great at your job
Essential Functions
· Ability to respond to a variety of customer changes and circumstances while continuing to demonstrate strong selling skills for important customer services and applications
· Use negotiating skills while understanding and using sales techniques to close orders
· Prepare sales proposals that meet customer expectations
· Willingness to learn about all aspects of the industrial MRO, safety, and construction business
