The Role :
We are seeking an experienced Director of Software Development to lead and scale our engineering team. This leader will drive the design, development, and deployment of our Agentic AI application platform while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate has expertise in Agentic / Gen AI, SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices.
This role is based out of our Palo Alto, CA office, and an Onsite interview is required as part of the process (with some flexibility to WFH).
Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the software development strategy aligned with Aisera's business goals.
- Oversee the development and deployment of scalable, secure, and Gen AI based enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers, architects, and developers.
- Own end-to-end software development processes, ensuring high-quality and timely product releases.
- Implement Agile, DevOps, and CI / CD best practices to optimize development workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and Customer Success teams to align development with business needs.
- Establish and track KPIs for software performance, scalability, and customer experience.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies in Agentic AI, cloud computing, and security.
