Maintenance Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve problems efficiently.

• Perform daily equipment inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using manufacturer guidelines and on-the-job training
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve equipment-related issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency
• Utilize basic test equipment, such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems, to diagnose and repair equipment
• Reduce downtime by working efficiently and implementing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis
• Safely execute workplace rules and standards, and monitor the safety, quality, and productivity of production machinery and equipment
• Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with AWTX Team Members and Japanese Maintenance team members

• High school Diploma or GED required
• College or technical school coursework completed is a plus
• 1 or more years of experience in Manufacturing equipment maintenance is required
• Experience with high and low voltage electricity handling is a plus
• Experience as an independent maintenance mechanic or electrician is a plus
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience in a cross-cultural working environment is a plus
