Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual to step into the role of Team Leader for our Specialty Measurements area. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop leadership skills and gain proficiency in specialty measurements, including measuring internal welds, workpiece roughness, hardness, shape trace, titration/concentration checks and foreign matter.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Measurement Training: Learn specialty measurements through provided training to become proficient and capable of training Team Members.
- Quality Inspection: Manage tasks to ensure quality inspections are completed consistently and efficiently.
- Team Development: Train team members, maintain training documentation, and support continuous skill development.
- Team Management: Manage Team Member scheduling, maintain quality inspection standards during absences, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Documentation Management: Oversee and manage all documentation related to specialty measurements, machine calibration, and machine maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Learn to conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment, manage documentation, and ensure availability of indirect materials.
- Communication: Serve as a communication link between the Specialty Measurements area and other manufacturing departments, leadership, group leaders, and management.
Accountabilities:
- Continuous Improvement-Kaizen Events
- Creating and Management a safe work environment-conducts accident investigations-countermeasures
- Effective First line supervision
- Maintaining production standards and achieving target availability
- Manage Overtime
- Complete all reports (EOS)
- Maintain acceptable levels of TM Morale-Increase TM Satisfaction in areas of "Communication"
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum high school diploma
- 2yrs experience in a manufacturing environment including usage of gauging for quality inspection and equipment management.
- Ability to learn and develop proficiency in specialty measurements.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to train and develop team members with provided training.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and inspection.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- 2 year Associates technical diploma in a related field of study
