Cost optimizing experience:
- Needing someone who has been in the hot seat before- has "spend" attached to their name
- Use AI/ML models to predict future cloud expenses based on historical retail sales trends.
- Implement cloud cost monitoring tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and Google Cloud Platform Billing to track expenses across departments
- Ensures that cloud spending is optimized while maintaining performance, security, and scalability.
- What they are lacking the most- someone with architectural skills that can assist with realizing the cost of automation and find more opportunities
- Retail experience would be beneficial
Skills Required:
- Cloud Computing (Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Scripting & Automation (Terraform)
