What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Director of Finance & Ops is an integral member of the finance team and will play a key role teaming with the existing operations team on the accounting and finance function. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can partner effectively with a high-caliber team on the day-to-day responsibilities utilizing strong communication, collaboration, technical expertise, attention to detail, and analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
In this role, you will :
- Perform quarterly valuations for assigned funds including utilizing models.
- Monitor partnership cash requirements and perform capital calls with the fund administrator as necessary.
- Review quarterly / annual financial statements and capital account allocations from the fund administrator.
- Review and execute cash / stock distributions from partnerships. Assist with annual audit and tax preparation.
- Oversee fund-related processes such as maintaining our internal system for investment rounds, exits, financing processes (i.e. diligence, background checks, sourcing).
- Oversee Management Company Administrator including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Assist with annual insurance renewals, tax filings, and benefit renewals.
- Support portfolio companies in finance operations and as directed by the Managing Partner.
- Support LP related communications, initiatives, and incoming requests, including fundraising prep & ODD support.
- Manage outsourced compliance engagement including annual review of policies and procedures.
- Special projects as directed by our fractional CFO / COO.
