The no cost AJAC Manufacturing Academy located at Kent/Green River College is a multiweek training, education, skills development program, with aerospace and advanced manufacturing job linkage. The Pre Apprenticeship Manufacturing Academy offers a solid foundational pathway into aerospace and advanced manufacturing career opportunities and is no cost.

If you compete the above two steps and want to enroll after that you will fill out and complete all enrollment Day 1 paperwork at the orientation after you have been invited to become part of the Cohort.
As a Manufacturing Academy Student, you will learn:
- Intro to machining
- Blueprint reading
- Precision measuring
- Math for manufacturing
- LEAN
- Hands on tools and machine usage, and projects
- OSHA
- Resume writing
- Interviewing assistance and job application assistance
Manufacturing Academy Students will earn:
- OSHA-10 certification
- First-Aid/CPR AED certification
- Forklift certification
- Lean Manufacturing White Belt
Upon completion, you will work with a Career Navigation Team member which includes resume building, soft-skill development, interview prep, salary negotiations, and a guided job search of advanced manufacturing employment opportunities. 90% success rate.
Program Information & Eligibility Requirements:
· Class Requirements: Mandatory Attendance and Punctuality. Washington State Resident. 18 and older. Legally allowed to work in the U.S. Ability to attend class in person Monday through Friday. Complete all the eligibility, funding and enrollment paperwork.
· Class Start Date: October 16 | 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
· Length of Program: 8 Weeks (Monday – Friday)
· Location: Kent Station/ Green River College Campus
