What You’ll Do
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum extrusions, metal components, frames, doors, and window units for storefront systems.
- Ensure all components are accurately measured and cut for perfect fit.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders to guide fabrication.
- Verify dimensions and measurements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Inspect fabricated components for accuracy, alignment, and quality, adjusting as needed.
- Follow safety protocols for handling tools, machinery, and materials, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Manage and oversee a team of 3-4 field employees, ensuring coordination and efficiency on-site.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in fabrication—glazing and storefront fabrication experience is a must!
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Able to operate saws, drills, routers, milling machines and a variety of other fabrication tools with precision and safety.
- Ability to use sheet metal brake and shear a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Working knowledge of various commercial door hardware types preferred.
- Must be punctual and dependable, ensuring the team is prepared and ready each morning by 5 AM EST.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.) as part of daily tasks.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Marietta, GA, with an early morning start time.
