Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport is seeking a friendly and attentive Pool Attendant to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests at our hotel pool. The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining poolside cleanliness, enforcing safety guidelines, assisting guests with their needs, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet guests in a friendly manner, provide towels, and assist with seating arrangements.
- Monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety, enforce pool rules, and report any hazardous conditions to security.
- Responsible for completing the daily chlorine content log as required by health standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas, including wiping down loungers, collecting used towels, and emptying trash bins.
- Distribute and collect towels, restock pool supplies, and ensure lounge chairs are properly arranged.
- Be prepared to assist in case of emergencies, such as providing CPR or first aid if certified, and promptly alerting emergency personnel.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding pool hours, hotel amenities, and other services.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety regulations, and health codes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Work Environment
Lifeguard will work within our atrium pool. Individual can expect to work in an outdoor environment during the summer months and a climate controlled environment during the winter months.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Requires finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking repetitive motion, hearing visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with expectation to work necessary business hours to ensure business needs are met during the normal operating hours of the pool area.
