Piano Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages, particularly preschool and early childhood learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their musical skills and appreciation for piano.

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students, focusing on both technique and musicality.
• Teach piano fundamentals, including reading music, rhythm, and proper hand positioning.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Incorporate behavior management techniques to address diverse learning styles and needs.
• Engage students through creative activities that may include theater elements or photography to enhance their understanding of music.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and any areas needing attention.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience working with students in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
• Ability to incorporate various teaching methods to engage students effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for music and teaching that inspires students to learn and grow.
