Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist with food handling as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy shifts.
- Stay updated on new drink recipes, trends in mixology, and seasonal offerings to enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink pricing calculations.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
