Responsibilities
- Collaborates with customers and departments to ensure equipment meets process requirements
- Develops and maintains tools for proper equipment specification
- Reviews customer orders to verify correct specifications and expected performance
- Designs and specifies equipment for unique applications in quotes and orders.
- Manages projects, process layouts, the Engineering Resource Manual (ERM) database, and audits the Sales configurator for enhancement recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar required
- At least 5 years previous engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Must have Bulk Material Handling experience
- Previous experience using SolidWorks required
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes
