Responsibilities
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Negotiate with suppliers
Oversee all aspects of Global Sourcing & Purchasing
Engaging directly with both internal and external stakeholders to drive significant and sustainable improvements
Ensure performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked and reported on as required for supply base management and improvement
Conduct comprehensive business reviews to evaluate performance against customer demands and company metrics
Establish standard operating procedures for purchasing; monitor the effectiveness of procedures; revise and improve purchasing processes
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Collaborate with sales teams to derive actionable insights from customer demand data, monitoring significant market and pricing shifts
Requirements
BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
10 plus years of Procurement / Supply Chain
Electronics / semi-conductor industry experience
APICS certification
In-depth knowledge of vendor and enterprise risk management, with extensive experience in MRP, MPS, and ERP systems
Strong negotiation skills
Solid track record meeting substantial material cost reduction targets
